Capture and share map parts

The Snap Share feature offers an easy way to reuse and share sections of MindManager diagrams through MindManager Snap. It lets users add map parts to their Snap Queue for reuse in other diagrams or share with other users in a Team Snap Queue.

You can drag a map part from a Snap Queue onto a map.

To capture part of a map

1 Control-click a topic.

2 Click Send Topic(s) To.

3 Do any of the following:

• If you are not part of any Team Snap Queue, click Snap Queue.

• If you are part of a Team Snap Queue, choose My Snap Queue or the name of the Team Snap Queue.

A progress indicator appears while the map part is added to the Snap Queue, and a message appears when the map part has been added and is ready for use.

All subtopics of the captured topic are also captured, and all formatting and elements within the topic and its subtopics are maintained.

You can also
Capture a map part by dragging	Click the map part to select it, and drag it into the Snap Queue pane.
Select multiple parts for capture	Click and drag over the map parts, or hold down Command and click the map parts.

You can also capture a map part by dragging it from the map to a Snap Queue.

To reuse a captured map part

• Drag the map part onto the map from your Snap Queue.

If you drag it onto an existing topic, it is added to that topic as a subtopic. All formatting is retained.
