Your purchase or trial of MindManager includes an account that lets you use Mindjet Files and Mindjet Tasks in the cloud. You can access your content from virtually anywhere, at any time, when you log in to Mindjet Files using MindManager's desktop applications, mobile applications, or by using the MindManager web app in your browser.
The following steps will get you started using Mindjet Files right away. For complete information, see the MindManager for Mac - Mindjet Files and Tasks Help online.
Note: You can set an option in Mindjet MindManager > Preferences to log in to Mindjet automatically each time you start MindManager for Mac.
Initially, the Mindjet Files window will be empty, and you will be the only user in your account. You can populate your account by creating and saving maps in Mindjet Files online, or uploading maps and other documents from your local system. Then, you can share these items to add other users to your account.
Once you have logged in you can also send topics from you map to create new Mindjet Tasks online.

Note: The map you've saved online in Mindjet Files is not connected to your local copy.
Once you have added content to your account, you can share it with other people.
To share with someone in the list, select the person's name.
To share with someone else, click Share With a New Person. Enter their contact information, and then click OK to return to the Share dialog where you can add more people to share with.
You can also share an open map that you have saved to Mindjet Files using the the Services toolbar button. In the drop-down menu, choose Share in Mindjet Files.
Existing users in the account will have immediate access to the item you shared. New users will receive an email with a link to the item. Once they join Mindjet, they can log in and access the document from any Mindjet application.
Note: You must be logged in to Mindjet to send topics to Mindjet Tasks.
The task topic on your map is now linked to its corresponding Mindjet Task online. You can see the task online in Mindjet Tasks at any time by clicking the topic's hyperlink icon.
If you change the task's information on your map, it will be changed online in Mindjet Tasks as soon as the topic is synced. Likewise, if the task's info is changed from another Mindjet app, it will change on your map when it is synced. To sync the tasks on your map, choose Mindjet Tasks > Refresh All Mindjet Tasks in this Map.
