Add a cloud storage service

Users can easily add external storage solutions directly from MindManager and access their remotely stored files like they would their local files. You can also save your maps to cloud storage services.

To connect to a cloud storage service

1 Click File > Manage Online Locations.
2 In the Manage Online Locations dialog, next to the service that you want to add, click Add.
3 Then, either sign in with your existing credentials or sign up for a new account. Follow the instructions, and MindManager will connect you to a cloud storage service account, which is where you will store and share your files.

*

To add a cloud storage service account to your MindManager configuration, you can either enter credentials of an account you already own or create a brand new account directly from the Manage Online Locations dialog.

You can rename cloud storage places that you've added to simplify managing maps and projects. Click File > Manage Online Locations, Open or Save As, click Add Place, click Rename beside the cloud storage service, and type a name in the Display Name box.

To share via a cloud storage service

1 Open the map you want to share.
Maps you share via a cloud storage service do not need to be stored in any particular location. To be shared by that service, they are first saved in that location.
2 Click File > Save As.
3 In the Choose Location dialog, select the service you want to use to share your map.
The Save to... dialog opens with the name of your file automatically filled in the File name box.
4 Click the Manage Share Permissions link.
A browser window opens to the page where you can edit your share permissions.

*

If you haven't logged in to your storage service beforehand, you will be asked for your credentials to access the page where you can manage your share permissions.
